Over
90% of hair loss and thinning hair cases are due to Dihydro-testosterone
(DHT)
...hormone
in human body.
•
DHT
reduces the hair follicle until it no longer produces visible hair. |
|
|
|
| |
|
|
|
•
ProAnagen™
(ProAngen™) is a potent natural topical solution that blocks DHT
production,
...which
causes hair loss and thinning hair within scalp. |
|
|
|
•
ProAnagen™
has other extra strength ingredients that promotes thicker and
...healthier
hair. |
|
|
|
•
ProAnagen™
is effective and safe for both men and women. |
|

|
Rogaine® (Minoxidil) can grow hair, but it can not block
the DHT hormone that causes most hair loss cases.
So
you could keep growing hair with Rogaine®—assuming
it is working for you, but the DHT hormone keeps damaging hair
follicles.
ProAnagen™
topical solution and shampoo can help blocking this damaging hormone
that causes hair loss. |

Big
hips 'impair' women's memory, a study finds...A woman's body shape
may influence how good her memory is, according to US researchers...Although
carrying excess weight anywhere appears to impair older women's
brains, carrying it on the hips may make matters worse, they
say...The Northwestern Medicine team found "apple-shaped"
women fared better than "pears" on cognitive tests...
Wastewater
upgrade filters gender-bending chemicals...They said male fish are
now taking longer to be feminized by so-called hormone disrupters
in one creek in Colorado after standard improvements to a wastewater
treatment plant in Boulder in 2008... David
Norris of the University of Colorado at Boulder had earlier found
ethinylestradiol, a female hormone used in contraceptives, in Boulder
Creek. His
team also had measured bisphenol A and phthalates, which are both
used in plastics and which can mimic the effects of hormones, as
well as pesticides and antidepressants in the water...
BPA
does its job well, and today some 6 billion lb. (2.7 billion kg)
of the chemical are produced globally each year. The problem is,
BPA is also a synthetic estrogen, and plastics with BPA can break
down, especially when they're washed, heated or stressed, allowing
the chemical to leach into food and water and then enter the human
body...linking
fetal BPA exposure in rodents to everything from mammary cancer
to male genital defects and even neurobehavioral problems....
How
Safe Is Your Cell Phone?...An analysis published by University of
Washington neurologist Henry Lai determined that far more independent
studies than industry-funded studies have found at least some type
of biological effect from cell-phone exposure...Dariusz Leszczynski,
a research professor at Finland's Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority
in Helsinki, has done studies indicating that RF radiation may create
a stress reaction in the cells that line blood vessels, leading
to a dangerous breach in the blood-brain barrier. "Mobile-phone
radiation may be able to indirectly hurt cells, perhaps by interfering
with their ability to repair normal
DNA damage," he says. "Given the scientific uncertainty,
it's premature to say the use of cell phones is safe."
Molecules
and synapses cement memories, say scientists... Synapses - where
brain cells connect with each other - have long been known to be
the key site of information exchange and storage in the brain...The
deteriorating health of the synapses is increasingly thought to
be a feature of
Alzheimer's, a disease in which short-term memory suffers before
long-term recollections are affected.
Testosterone:
Not Always an Aggression Booster...according to a new study in the
journal Nature. The paper suggests that the hormone may in fact
lead to fair, and more altruistic, behavior in some situations,
causing aggression only when people believe they are under its influence...The
study's authors also found that women who believed they had received
a testosterone supplement — whether they had or not —
made much greedier and self-serving offers, suggesting that the
assumption of testosterone's influence became an enabler of antisocial
behavior. "It's
not the hormone, but the myth surrounding the hormone that induced
aggressiveness," Michael Naef suggests...
Teeth
grinders are in for a shock...With this new device, Grindcare ,
developed in Denmark, a small electrode is placed on the temple
which then monitors the movement of facial muscles. When
it detects tension mounting, it delivers a tiny electrical impulse
- or biofeedback.
Scientists
are to assess whether the artificial sweetener aspartame causes
health problems in people unusually sensitive to it...Aspartame,
150 times sweeter than sugar, is found in products such as diet
soft drinks, cereal bars, yogurts and chewing gum...The
sweetener can be broken down to produce methanol and formaldehyde,
both of which have been previously linked to cancer.
Radiotherapy
used to treat brain tumours may lead to a decline in mental function
many years down the line, say Dutch researchers...A study of 65
patients, 12 years after they were treated, found those who had
radiotherapy were more likely to have problems with memory and attention.
Writing in The Lancet Neurology, the researchers said doctors
should hold off using radiotherapy where possible.
Soda
Tax Weighed to Pay for Health Care...The Center for Science in the
Public Interest, a Washington-based watchdog group that pressures
food companies to make healthier products, plans
to propose a federal excise tax on soda, certain fruit drinks...
Scarless
Surgery Uses Body's Own Openings..When Albert Pagliuca got gallstones,
his surgeon offered to remove his gallbladder with a new operation
designed to hurt less, get him back to work more quickly and leave
no visible scars. But there was one catch: Doctors
would pull the organ out through his mouth.
Hair-Razing
Devices for the Home..A device called Tria, which is being rolled
out next month for $995, is the first personal cosmetic laser to
be sold in the U.S. The device, made by closely held SpectraGenics
Inc. of Pleasanton, Calif., uses the
same diode-laser technology that became the gold standard in professional
hair removal more than a decade ago.
